We are not very happy with the CS division in Fort McMurray. Corys children where put in foster care a few months ago, due to their moms current situation making her unable to care for the children. The children were at a very high risk in their moms care. At the time, the children's mom had a no contact order for herself and Ryan against Cory for a ledge assault. Cory went to court and the charges were stayed as there was no evidence and the children's mother did not appear for the court hearing. Cory proceeded to get the order of the stayed charges and went to the Fort Mc Murray office and spoke to Josh who is the case worker for the children. Josh lead Cory to believe that there was no reason why he would not be able to start seeing the children and work towards having the children leaving care and live with their dad and myself. Josh told me that I would have to get record checks done which I have. Cory and I both have called many times over the last month just wanting to know when Cory could see his children. We both have tried calling supervisors and have left countless messages and still nothing. We are starting to feel that the children and their wellbeing must not be as important to CS as they are to us. No communication, answers, response makes us feel that our concerns are falling on deaf ears. All we ask for is communication. Something, anything.
