The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo is located in the heart of Canada's energy future. At more than 66,300 square kilometres, the RMWB is the largest municipality in Canada and is one of the most culturally diverse destinations in the nation.

Within all that regional municipality acreage are the communities of Anzac, Conklin, Draper, Fort Chipewyan, Fort Fitzgerald, Fort MacKay, Fort McMurray, Gregoire Lake Estates, Janvier and Saprae Creek Estates.
